The vision and mission of the Berrics Field Ops is to provide unparalleled support and appreciation to those very institutions who have supported us, skateboarders and skateboarding within their local community in the past, present and future: skateboard shops. They are an integral part to skateboarding's growth as they are the entrance point to knowledge. They are the bridge between the outside world and our world. The longer they survive, the longer skateboarding survives, the longer we all survive. This week the Berrics focuses its crosshairs on Jeric's Skateshop of Joliet, Illinois.

I ripped these pictures out of some fashion magazine years ago. I've moved a few times since then and couldn't bring myself to throw them out. I'm glad I kept them because it seems you'll know just what to do with them.
This guy even has his own filmer.
Thanks for doing what you're doing. The Berrics is so good for skateboarding.

Every Monday I'm going to feature someone's myspace profile, yanked straight from the pages of my own list of friends. On December 25th I'm going to pick one person from that list and fly them out to Los Angeles to spend a weekend at the most exclusive skate spot in the world. So if you ain't on my friends list, you probably ain't gettin' picked. Last night the Berrics hosted a private screening slash party slash skate jam-a-roo for DVS's new video that's not a tour video but not a full length video either and only has full parts by some people, not me. It's called Cock Soup, I mean Dudes, Dudes, Dudes. As you can see in these photos there were pretty much only dudes, dudes, dudes attending the screening so if you're prone to man crushes, which I know a lot of you out there are especially julesharpending and some guy named nick dagger, click here and get your crush on. SIDENOTE: come on Gav, it's 2008, the hoes love skateboarding. Think you could have invited a few?
